FROM LIVE WORKSHOP TO LASTING LEARNING — TWO-MINUTE WALKTHROUGH

Hello, I’m Hassan Raza Bukhari. This is a non-official proof of concept showing how I would transform a live workshop led by a Subject Matter Expert into accessible, reusable asynchronous learning.

I began with a content-capture brief: clarifying the doctoral audience, learning outcome, permissions, accessibility requirements and the respective responsibilities of the Training Lead, Subject Matter Expert and E-Learning Officer.

The learner experience is deliberately short. It combines a concise explanation, an applied permissions scenario, an accessible checklist, a knowledge check and a community prompt. The interaction has keyboard support, visible focus, clear feedback and a text-first alternative to media.

Behind the learner view is the production workflow: capture planning, editing, captions and transcript, academic review, accessibility and copyright assurance, LMS metadata, archive structure and a named review date.

Evaluation goes beyond completion. I would look at confidence, knowledge-check performance, learner feedback, application after two weeks and differences in experience across partner institutions.

The Subject Matter Expert retains responsibility for academic accuracy. The E-Learning Officer provides the learning-design, production, accessibility, publication and continuous-improvement expertise that turns specialist knowledge into an effective online resource.
